Sally is a sculptor, installation artist and image maker, drawing inspiration from the natural world, environmental issues are a subject of her recent work. She has a lifelong preoccupation with dynamics and has incorporated sound and movement in her installation work.

Storytelling, mythology, symbolism, ancient history and tracing the origins of human development have been her inspiration, she is concerned with portraying Archetypal symbols of the collective unconscious, interpreted in a contemporary way.  

 

The ancient history and mythology of the Eastern Mediterranean and in particular the Neolithic period of early agricultural societies has provided much inspiration for her creative practice.

 

Sally is based in SE Queensland Australia
